mmx-performance-high-performance-ignition-coils-b-series
MMX Performance High Performance Ignition Coils - B-Series

The MMX Performance High Performance Ignition Coil is a full OE replacement for the factory coil pack on BMW and MINI B-Series engines, producing a 10% increase in output energy over the original for a stronger and more consistent spark.

The 10% figure is deliberate rather than conservative. Output and internal temperature rise together, and a coil generating more than 10% over OE will overheat and deteriorate over time. The increase is set at the point where the extra spark energy is still worth having but the internal temperature rise has not started to work against the coil's service life.

That makes these coils as much a reliability part as a performance one. Factory coils weaken with age and heat cycling, and replacing a tired set restores ignition consistency whether the car is standard or tuned.

Installation is plug and play with no modification required. Remove the factory coil packs and fit the MMX units in their place. Applying dielectric grease around the rubber boot of the coil is recommended, as it aids removal later and supports long-term reliability.

The coil cover is available in three anodized finishes, red, grey and blue. Coils are sold individually, so order the quantity your engine requires.

Product Details

Full OE replacement ignition coil for BMW and MINI B-Series engines

Covers the B36, B38, B46, B48, B58 and S58

Fits both first and second generation B58

10% increase in output energy over the factory coil

Stronger and more consistent spark

Output set at the point where added energy does not compromise coil temperature

Plug and play installation with no modifications required

Available in red, grey and blue

Sold individually

MMX part numbers: MMR60-0011 red, MMR60-0012 grey, MMR60-0013 blue

Related Products

MMX Performance High Performance Ignition Coils N-Series

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0512/6114/5282/files/bmw-mini-b-series-mmx-performance-ignition-coil-red.jpg?v=1791241037
