The Eventuri BMW E9X M3 (S65) Black Carbon Inlet Plenum – Matte is a purpose-built upgrade engineered to elevate the character of BMW M’s legendary naturally aspirated V8 while preserving its factory performance dynamics. Designed specifically for the 4.0L S65 engine, this carbon plenum replaces the OEM plastic unit with a motorsport-inspired solution that enhances both induction sound and engine bay aesthetics.
Manufactured entirely from prepreg carbon fiber, including the internal trumpets, the Eventuri plenum retains the precisely calculated internal volume and runner geometry developed by BMW engineers. Rather than chasing incremental horsepower figures, Eventuri focused on maintaining smooth power delivery and immediate throttle response while drawing out the unmistakable acoustic signature of the S65.
Through extensive testing, Eventuri optimized the carbon layup to produce a refined resonance profile. As RPM builds, the plenum delivers a sharper, more pronounced induction tone that captures the raw, high-revving nature enthusiasts expect from the E9X M3. The result is a more engaging driving experience that strengthens the connection between driver and engine without disrupting the vehicle’s mechanical balance.
The matte carbon fiber finish introduces a subtle, modern aesthetic that pairs exceptionally well with OEM and OEM-plus engine bays. Offering a more understated appearance than gloss carbon, it delivers a technical motorsport look while still providing a substantial upgrade over the factory plastic plenum.
Compatible with the factory intake system as well as upgraded carbon intake components, this plenum installs with OEM-level precision for seamless integration.
For customers seeking a factory-inspired finishing touch, we offer the option to add a genuine BMW OE S65 ///M V8 emblem. When selected, the emblem is professionally pre-installed prior to shipping to ensure precise alignment and a clean OEM-quality presentation.
