The MMX Performance Replacement Aluminum Wheel Nut Set covers all four wheels with twenty M14x1.25 nuts machined from 7075 aluminum and anodized gloss black. It is intended for cars already running a wheel stud conversion, and as the replacement set when nuts are damaged or when a change of wheels calls for a different seat profile.
7075 is the high-strength end of the aluminum range, which is what makes an aluminum nut a sensible choice here rather than a compromise. The nuts are open-ended, allowing them to clear the extended studs a conversion setup uses rather than bottoming out on them. A knurled outer collar gives a positive grip when starting each nut by hand, which matters when a wheel is balanced against the hub and the first thread is the difficult one.
Two seat profiles are offered, and choosing the right one is not optional. Conical tapered seats and ball seats are not interchangeable, and fitting the wrong profile means the nut never seats correctly against the wheel. Most OEM wheels use a conical tapered seat, but aftermarket wheels vary, so check what your wheels require before ordering.
Wheel studs are not included. These are the nuts alone, sized to work with the MMX stud conversion kit and with other M14x1.25 stud setups.
